So, I went back and made sure to make the measurements accurate for the piece. Here's an overlay...



Now that I feel confident about my base, I'm starting to go in and make the details.


The Base should be done by this Friday, giving me the weekend to Zbrush in details. I plan to not have to retop anything but the rocks, so I'm being careful with base geo to give enough information.


My current schedule for this project is as follows:

Week 1. Finalize design choice, and get Basic shapes laid out.
Week 2. Begin details (major thing is the circular piece on top.)
Week 3. More Details. Start Zbrush.
Week 4. Finish, details. UV and Begin Basic Material selections.
Week 5. Finish Textures and Render Scene.

Environment 01

Start of my Environment. Basic of basic blockouts, but the beginning of something that I know will be great. Super excited to start an environment, and will be able to work on it more starting tomorrow when Amazon comes and delivers some equipment I left a home.
